Karen Kwan

Karen Kwan joined PineBridge Investments in 2022 as a Senior Credit Analyst in the Asia Fixed Income team responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis for Asia corporate bond credits.

Ms. Kwan began her career in 1998 and has deep financial and investment analysis experience covering both fixed income credits and equities with extensive coverage in the Greater China region.

Prior to joining PineBridge, Ms. Kwan was a Director and Asia Credit Desk Analyst with Deutsche Bank’s Global Credit Trading team. In this role, she provided buy and sell trade ideas for Hong Kong investment grade and China property high yield bonds for Asia credit flow traders and investors. She also provided insight around policies, rating change expectations, and fundamental credit trends for Hong Kong and China companies. Before this, she was a property research analyst covering Hong Kong and China equities with Kim Eng (a subsidiary of Maybank), Religare Capital Markets and Morgan Stanley, covering listed stocks, doing analysis and presentation on pre-IPO companies, and conducting industry analysis including trust financing analysis and landbank aging profiles. Before this, she was Treasury Manager at Sony BMG Music Entertainment in New York, responsible for the daily operations of the centralized Treasury, including investing excess cash, enhancing FX capabilities, and optimizing working capital management. She began her career at Lehman Brothers as a Fixed Income Research Analyst covering mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities.

Ms. Kwan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Highest Honors from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.
